剧情：Zhao Ying's death distresses his parents. Tiantao is more upset as she was the one who killed him. A distressed Mrs Zhao turns to Tiantao and demands that she returns her son to her. TIantao keeps quiet. Zhao then tells Tiantao to leave. Zhao Fu, who is kneeling beside Zhaoying's body, cannot do anything to help Tiantao. Tiantao has no choice but to leave. On reaching heaven, Tiantao asks Tianfu to teach her how to revive Zhao Ying. Tianfu is initially reluctant to tell her but is finally persuaded to do so. Zhao Fu is buying sacrificial offerings when he makes the acquaintance of a Taoist priest (Yun Changcou). The latter declares that he is able to revive a dead person using magic power. Zhao Fu and the curious onlookers observe the priest reviving a dead bird. Zhao Fu quickly approaches him and ask if he can revive his master.

She then arranges to have dinner with Kangnian hoping to introduce a lady, Zhang, to him. Qianling had promised Kangnian's parents that she would persuade him to marry as soon as possible. However, Kangnian is not interested in the girls she has been introducing to him. After dinner they get into Chang's car. On their way to Zhang's home, Kangnian catches sight of a portrait on the glass window of a photo studio. The girl in the portrait resembles Yanbai. Unfortunately, it is too late for him to check out with the studio as it is already closed. The next morning, he goes to the photo studio to speak to the owner.

Huixin explains loudly that Hui Shen is there for a drink and not to admire their flowers. Leng Bo then hurries his daughter to bring Hui Shen a drink. The King points out that he should not have blown the candles of the living. Moreover, Zhong Kui should not have spoken so boldy in his presence. He then commands Qianqian to cane Zhong Kui. The incident brings Qianqian closer to Zhong Kui. Later, when the King instructs Zhong Kui to resume his task, Zhong Kui refuses as he is still angry.

Zhong Kui says that it is an all men's party and it would not be appropriate for her to be around. But Bai thinks otherwise as Qianqian is quite manly. Zhong Kui is persuaded to invite her. Qianqian is then having her bath at home. Her maids compliment her for being so pretty. Qianqian is flattered. When Qianqian hears someone knocking on her door, she opens it only to find Zhong Kui standing at the doorstep. Zhong Kui is confused when he sees a beautiful woman before him.
